Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Long story short. Spoke to Laurel regarding getting a painting framed during Christmas week. Laurel stated that this week was very chaotic but she would see what she could do. Met with Laurel who showed me many framing options and we both agreed on one. Laurel was able to finish framing my painting in a couple of days in plenty of time for the holiday. Frame looked beautiful. What a great experience using Janow Custom Framing!  Laura really took the time to understand the look I was going for and helped come up with the perfect frame and mat selections.  Despite the challenges obtaining materials during COVID Laura had my art framed in no time and went out of her way to make sure I knew it was ready for pick-up (calling and emailing).  The prices were competitive and the options for conservation glass were extensive and included options that only added a minimal uncharge over basic glass.  Laura's pricing was just as competitive as those "70% off promotions" at the chain arts and crafts store but come with a professional who really knows her craft. We brought in a print-making project my son completed recently to be framed.  Laura was very helpful and knowledgeable as we looked at various frames and options for matting.  She helped us come up with a solution that showed the natural edge of the paper while also coming up with a frame that didn't take away from the print itself. Very informative about choices for frame choices and during this pandemic they are taking extra precautions to make sure that they are doing things safely. Laurel has framed so many different pictures and wedding invitations for us.  Some of these items are gifts, and some are for us.  She  has exquisite taste, as well as unlimited patience, and is always able to help me come up with just the right idea.  Laurel possesses a perfect balance between having lots of ideas and suggestions, but not trying to dictate a certain look. We often wind up with two or three great choices; she is happy to give advice.  Her prices are fair, and she always gives accurate information about time.
